Project
Throughout the immersive day, participants will dive into a rich movement experience that weaves together movement research sessions led by Dhanushka Seneviratne (Dance practitioner and international research scholar, UK) and Dhananjaya Jayawardhana(Dance practitioner and educator, SL), each bringing their own artistic voice, perspective, and expertise.
focus on sensation, pleasure, and a wide range of movement qualities, expanding physical possibilities and deepening bodily awareness. Each facilitator offers a unique entry point into the movement language, inviting you to encounter both the practice and your own dancing body in new ways. The movement research sessions draw inspiration from Fascial Flow and choreographic exploration. Through improvisation, guided tasks, and reflective practices, these sessions encourage embodied discovery, creativity, and curiosity.
Throughout the workshop, there will be space for dialogue, reflection, and Q&A, supporting an integrated, conscious, and shared learning process. Open to participants aged 16 and up, this workshop welcomes everyone with or without prior movement experience. Whether you are a dancer, performer, or simply curious about movement, you are warmly invited.
Bring your openness, curiosity, and love of moving, and join us for a weekend of shared research, connection, and joy. Spaces are limited to only 25 spaces; registration in advance is required
